内裡島貝塚群 Dairi island group shell mounds
内裡島貝塚群（だいりじまかいづかぐん）
島内には、 ５所の海浜に貝塚が存在します。 いずれも製塩遺構を伴い、 カキを主体とした貝層があり、 A貝塚は貴重で縄文末から平安時代まで連綿と製塩が続いた形跡がわかります。

Dairi island group shell mounds
DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
There are shell mounds at 5 beaches in the island. All of the mounds provide ancient information about the salt making process. They’re made of layers of shells, predominantly oyster shell. These shell mounds are very valuable for researching the history of the salt making as it continued from the Jomon to Heian periods.
