十二支方角石 The twelve animal zodiac Direction Stone
十二支方角石（じゅうにしほうがくせき） 塩竈市指定・有形文化財 この方角石ほうがくせきは、十二支じゅうにしが刻きざまれた円柱形えんちゅうけいをなし、直径ちょっけい45㎝、高たかさ82.5㎝と他所たしょに類るいを見みない堂々どうどうとしたものである。 奉献者ほうけんしゃが一般いっぱんの船頭せんどう、廻船問屋かいせんどんやとは異ことなり幕府ばくふより差遣さけんされた役人やくにん（木村又兵衛正信きむらまたべえまさのぶであることも珍めずらしいと言いわれている。 昭和62年２月１日指定 作者・著者：木村又兵衛正信（きむら またべえまさのぶ） サイズ：450 x 450 x 820mm 材質・形状：石造 収蔵場所：宮城県塩竈市 寒風沢 閲覧可 JPN｜ENG The twelve animal zodiac Direction Stone DESCRIPTION There is a “Direction Stone” located on Hiyori mountain in Sabusawa. This stone is distinguished by its cylindrical shape(diameter of 45cm,height 82.5cm).and engraved with the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac.This stone was dedicated by Matabee Masanobu Kimura(Matabee-Masanobu Kimura),a delegate from the Tokugawa shogunate. This is very unusual, as usually the dedication was performed by ordinary people such as a boatman or a shipping agent. 六地蔵 Rokujizō
六地蔵（ろくじぞう） 一枚の石に二体ずつ彫ったものを三枚並べて、 その上に長い石で屋根を載せています。 仏教によれば、 人は死後生前の行いによって 「地獄道、 修羅道、 餓鬼道、 畜生道、 人道、 天道」 の六道に送られます。 この六地蔵は村境や辻にあって、 それぞれの道にいる人間にあまねく慈悲をたれるといわれています。 サイズ：1000 x 2300 x 600mm 材質・形状：地蔵 収蔵場所：宮城県塩竈市 寒風沢 （山ノ神・小学校手前の三叉路） 閲覧可 JPN｜ENG Rokujizō DESCRIPTION The six Jizos are aligned side by side. 化粧地蔵 Kesho Jizo
化粧地蔵（けしょうじぞう） 作者や作られた年代とも不明ですが、 古くからこの地蔵様のお顔に白粉を塗って祈願すると、 美しい子宝が授かると言われており今日なお、 何時も化粧が絶えないといわれています。 ＊同寺内には、 「延命地蔵」 「坂本玄順の墓」 「六地蔵」 もあります。 サイズ：1070 x 600 x 600mm 材質・形状：地蔵 収蔵場所：宮城県塩竈市 寒風沢 （松林寺） 閲覧可 JPN｜ENG Kesho Jizo DESCRIPTION The name of the artist and the year are unknown, but from ancient times, it was said that those who put face powder on the Jizo’s face would be blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby. しばり地蔵 Tied Jizo

雨降石 Amefuri ishi (stone)
雨降石（あめふりいし） 笠かさの形状けいじょうをしており、相州雨降山石尊権現そうしゅうあめふりやませきそんごんげんを祀まつるとの伝承でんしょうがある。島内とうないの農耕のうこうが全まったく天水てんすいに依存いぞんしていたため、この石いしに向むかって雨乞あまごいをした。この場所ばしょは、航海こうかいの日和見ひよりみをした所ところでもあった。 材質・形状：石 収蔵場所：宮城県塩竈市 石浜（配水池の上） 閲覧可 JPN｜ENG Amefuri ishi (stone) DESCRIPTION It has the shape of a hat, and there is a legend that it enshrines Soshu Amefuriyama Sekison Gongen.
